No Federal Transmission Lines Logan County is a grassroots citizen group formed in October 2024 to oppose wind, solar, and transmission-line development in northern Logan County, including the Delta Plains and Cimarron Link transmission corridors. The group held its first community meeting at Camp Joy in Crescent, drawing newly elected state representatives Jim Shaw and Molly Jenkins, both of whom expressed support for the group's concerns. The group followed with a meeting planned at the State Capitol in January 2025 to coincide with legislative leadership elections. The Logan County Board of Commissioners subsequently passed resolutions opposing the Delta Plains project and broader federal climate-related subsidies, though Commission Chairman Mark Sharpton told the group he had found no statutory mechanism allowing the county to block the transmission corridor outright.
