In this edition
Good morning, First Capital, and grab an umbrella, because rain is on the way today. Even as turnout fell statewide, Logan County cast 17,865 votes for governor Tuesday in unofficial returns, 2,006 more than in 2018 and the second-largest gain in Oklahoma behind Canadian County, and our analysis has the five precincts that grew the most. Wednesday morning, Guthrie police were sent to a report of a pickup with a tire apparently on fire on southbound I-35 from Seward Road, and that afternoon a Langston officer reported a low-speed pursuit on Highway 33 that ended in Coyle. The New Investor Class meets at 11 a.m. in Guthrie, and Edmond's Development Impact Review Committee holds a special meeting at 4 p.m. KOSU reports a new Oklahoma Children's OU Health center will expand pediatric behavioral healthcare, and News 9 rounds up the Oklahoma County jail's future and Yukon's new mayor.
