Good morning, First Capital. Associate District Judge Diane Vaughan keeps her gavel: in unofficial results she took just under 58 percent of the vote against Sierra Pfeiffer in the county's only contested race for a county office, and our story has how Logan County voted for governor, Congress and the state House. Overnight, a Logan County deputy was sent to check a report of shots near Seward and Kelly and found no source, and deputies removed a deer from Highway 74 just south of County Road 75. This morning's Chamber Coffee is at Frena Self Care at 9:30 a.m. in Guthrie. KOCO reports the state questions failed, and the Guthrie News Page has school leaders discussing facility needs and academic growth at a retreat. It looks like a sunny one out there, so enjoy it.
